The census count shows there are currently 30 residents in the facility, and two referrals, as of the meeting date.
John presented the staffing update as well as his administrator’s report. The call light system continues to malfunction, and if more bids aren’t received quickly, the facility will go with the bid that has been received. The hot water heater in laundry had to be replaced this month. John reports an increase in resident satisfaction with the implementation of the Ambassador program at the facility. A graduation ceremony was held to honor the four graduates from the Nurse Aid program at the facility on May 26. Great things are happening at the facility as John and the staff work together to provide a safe, loving, and caring environment for the residents.
The Board voted on a county property bid which was received this month, and discussed some policies that will be addressed at the next meeting.
Accounts receivable were discussed, as were the financial statements, which were accepted as presented.
Future agenda items were discussed and the Board broke for lunch. After lunch, the Board went into Executive Session to discuss personnel matters. No action was taken.
